Lecturer (Outdoor Adventure) – Land & Wave
Land & Wave need someone to teach on our Outdoor Adventure Level 3 BTEC courses.
Teaching will take place in Bournemouth, the wonderful Dorset landscape and our new watersports facility at Sandbanks.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering all aspects of the programme.
This position is being advertised on either a full or part-time role.
We’d like to employ someone that already has a good range of outdoor experience but if you have no outdoor qualifications we will train you.
You will need at least two years of teaching experience (since qualifying) and qualifications as described below.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS, DET)
- A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- D1 mini bus driving license
- Qualifications in outdoor pursuits
- Sports science background
- Experience of outdoor education/ adventure sports
